Student Psychotherapist, George Mason University Center for Psychological Services

  • Provide weekly individual psychotherapy for a diverse set of clients including adults, couples, and children.
  • Co-lead a social anxiety treatment group.

Psychodiagnostic Evaluator, George Mason University Cognitive Assessment Program

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments (including intellectual, academic, personality, and social-

              emotional) for adults.

  • Provide assessments of intellectual functioning for children ages 7 - 12 years old for Fairfax County's Gifted and

              Talented Program in individual and group testing formats.

Clinical Research Extern, Opportunities, Alternatives, and Resources of Fairfax, VA
  • Lead a psychoeducational group with incarcerated individuals aimed at building empathy, challenging      criminogenic beliefs, and increasing accountability for criminal behaviors. Work with speakers who have been victims of crime to come and speak to the group.
  • Co-lead a violence intervention and anger management group for individuals mandated to participate in the Virginia Batterer Intervention Program.
  • Lead a support group for people who have loved ones that have been impacted by the criminal justice system.

Clinical Interviewer, George Mason University Social Anxiety Disorder & Emotion Regulation Study

  • Conduct semi-structured diagnostic interviews (SCID-I) for a study explorng the daily interactions and emotion

              regulation strategies of individuals suffering from Social Anxiety Disorder

  • Supervisor: Todd Kashdan, Ph.D., & William Breen, Ph.D.

 

Peer Advocate, George Mason University Sexual Assault Services

  • Provide 24-hour crisis intervention and accompaniment through medical and legal proceedings for student survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence
  • Develop safety plans and encourage follow-up counseling services
  • Participate in campus-wide initiatives and psychoeducation about intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and healthy 
    relationships
